WYRE FLOOD FORUM

Involves representatives of the local community, United Utilities, Wyre Council, Lancashire County Council, Natural England and the Environment Agency. The Forum meets to discuss flooding and flood related issues in the Borough, with the aim of trying to find solutions. The Forum meets every three months at Wyre Civic Centre under the Chair Carl Green, Principal Engineer for Wyre Council. Issues and actions agreed at the Forum are referred to the Wyre Making Space for Water Group (MSfW), a group of technical officers from the key agencies who discuss possible joint solutions to issues raised.
